A very exciting new collaboration was announced: Adidas and Opening Ceremony are launching a sportswear inspired collection as a tribute to the Olympics in London. I love the playful take on the cyclist outfit, the bathing suits with the bandana prints and that cute peplum top. The collection will be available in selected online shops in July.

I got my favorite kind of mail today: A big box from ASOS. Once in a while I order a bunch of stuff just to try things on. This time there was more than one keeper. For one, this set of three rings:
And these high top sneakers:
No, I have not decided to tie the knot, I am working at a bridal and evening wear fashion fair and today a client asked me to model something. I am doing a three in one job here, being an interpreter, sales assistant and well, apparently a model for a portuguese firm called Grupo Noiva.
Anyway, so I’m having a good time in Essen working in the midst of ivory-colored organza, satin lace and tulle, I’ve been to Monki where I bought a classic blue jean (I will show you some pictures soon) and sunday was awesome, when Portugal won and Cristiano Ronaldo redeemed himself. Tonight I’m going back to Cologne.
For me COS is one of the best high street shops out there, they really offer a great quality and variety of materials with simplistic yet unusual cuts. It is just not my favorite shop because I frankly can’t seem to afford much there. But thankfully sales have hit the Collection Of Style stores. Here is a list of my favorite on-sale items (more sale here).
I’ll be so happy if I can get a hold of the silk T-shirt or the white leather top and I’ve had my eyes on these boots since January (on sale they are 130€, still a little too steep for me..).

I stumbled upon this series by Kesler Tran on the Ben Trovato blog. The soft focus makes these photographs look dreamy, reminiscent of David Hamilton’s famous work. But the colors are different, they are stronger, colder, not so romantic and therefor create a different kind of atmosphere. I also really like the model and styling in this series called “Escape”.
“I really wanted the story to give off a feeling of exploration, freedom, and being alone. [..] I always wanted to shoot something a little bit softer than my usual stuff, but not to appear “commercial” so the time of day I chose was more mid/ late afternoon, but not quite the golden hour” Kesler tells Ben Trovato.
