all Acne shoes in the world!
These are from the S/S 2012 collection. How amazing are the new Alice Silk pumps in different shades of blue? I could have them if I worked 45 hours.. I also really like the Audrey Silk pumps in fuchsia, but the other ones are sort of timeless. Shop them here.
The movie of the year for me was Pedro Almodóvar’s latest la piel que habito – the skin I live in. I watched it a few days ago and it has been haunting me ever since.
I’m a long time fan of Almodóvar’s work and this was no exception. It’s very difficult to explain it, the less you know going in, the better. I can’t even tell you the genre, it’s drama, thriller, horror, sci-fi all in one. Stunning visuals and a story that will shock you.
A brilliant plastic surgeon (Antonio Banderas) has developed a new impenetrable skin by experimenting with a beautiful woman (Elena Anaya) who is his personal guinea pig locked up in a room in his house. The surgeon is haunted by past tragedies and therefore has no morals whatsoever. Rated R.
I can’t tell you any more – find out for yourself.
Wow, so much food in two days, impressive. Spent some quality time with the loved ones, ate, drank, exchanged presents – the usual. Cooked dinner on christmas eve for the first time though and was proud of what I served to my family (here’s the recipe for the main course). Still have to make up my mind about NYE.. Hope everyone is having a good time!
Btw, this is what I wore today. A black dress with lace sleeves that I found in a box at home (I love when that happens), Zara blazer, old H&M earrings, awesome black glitter nail polish from catrice, American Apparel velvet leggings and my glittery shoes from 3suisses. As you can see, I cut my hair, I haven’t had this length since primary school or so but I like it.
The spanish brand with the leaping dog was always one of my favorite places to shop when in Portugal. Since I’m planning to return to Lisbon soon, I wanted to check out what they had and noticed they had an online store. I knew about their gorgeous accessories but I didn’t know they made super smart and beautiful ready-to-wear fashion (check out the coats!).

This is their christmas lookbook:
Crazy furs and envelope clutches, yay!
If this made your mouth water, go here.
I’m not usually one to dress up for christmas, but if I did, I’d choose something like this:
The outfit is inspired by this editorial for Flare January 2012.
Last week I went to the Dillon concert. It was brilliant. She sang and played the keyboard while this tall guy worked two mac books and sound machines I know nothing about. Her voice reminds me of Lykke Li, soft and vulnerable. She’s from Brazil but calls Cologne her home, writing her own songs and playing the piano. Now her debut album “The Silence Kills” came out, featuring this Track:
Here are some impressions from the concert.
And this is what I was wearing by the way (thanks for the photo, Jo). American Apparel velvet leggings and boots from Zara.
..for H&M!
Not very long ago I was part of the people who don’t buy things from H&M, claiming that things looked cheap or whenever they had something nice, everyone would be wearing it within a week.
At least since the conscious collection came out last summer, I’ve absolutely changed my mind about the swedish retail giant.
The spring 2012 collection proves H&M is more than just clothing-IKEA.
I find the asian influences very intriguing and the color palette is beautiful. My favorite piece is the white biker vest – and all the accessories and shoes!
